UTAR STEM Outreach makes STEM accessible to everyone. The aim of UTAR STEM Outreach is to spark excitement and create awareness in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) among school students, educators, parents, and the community. STEM-related activities such as workshops, competitions, webinars, talks, science fair, etc. are organised to get more young people interested in STEM and to develop an active mindset that is in line with the requirements of the 21st century. Encouraging students to engage in STEM activities makes the learning process more enjoyable, productive and reinforcing.

Objectives
» To expose students to STEM by providing them with opportunities to participate in STEM-related activities.    
» To promote students’ interest in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM).       
» To develop students’ passion for STEM and motivate them to pursue studies in a STEM-related field.        
» To increase public awareness on the roles and importance of STEM in socio-economic wellbeing and sustainable development.
» To enhance the awareness and participation of businesses and industries in promoting learning and career development in areas related to STEM among students and the community.
